$530£420Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist was born in Arvika in 1925 and passed away in 1997. She was the daughter of the artist Tor Hörlin and his wife Greta. In 1950, she married the artist Erik 'Truls' Holmquist. In 1952, she completed her studies at Konstfack School of Arts, Crafts and Design. Elias Svedberg connected her to Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), where she designed furniture for many years. The chairs Adam and Eva in the so-called Paradis series are other furniture pieces that were designed by Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist during her time at NK. From the late 1970s to the early 1980s, Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist collaborated with Kooperativa Förbundet (KF). In her final years, Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist collaborated with A&C Collection in Kristianstad.
