Reiners Industrial Aktiebolag, commonly known as Reiners Möbler, was founded in 1914 by Arvid Efraim Reiner, born in 1881 in Kumla outside Örebro. The company was closed down in 1949. Between 1940 and 1949, Erik Johansson (1896-1979) was a foreman and designer at Reiners. He is nicknamed Klot-Johan after his famous table with large black-stained balls. During these years, some unusual and exclusive furniture was made in what can be called a late art deco style.
