Bodil Kjær

This iconic table has been called the world's most beautiful desk. A 3-piece desk set, consisting of a desk, sideboard, and cabinet. Designed by Bodil Kjær in 1959 for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The sideboard was designed in 1963. Initially manufactured in the USA by C.I. Designs, Boston, and from 1961 in Denmark by E. Pedersen & Son. Production ceased in 1978. These pieces were purchased in Switzerland by the previous owner. Dimensions: Desk - Width 200, Depth 100, Height 76 cm. Sideboard - Width 184, Depth 45, Height 58 cm. Cabinet - Width 42, Depth 83.5, Height 76 cm. This model of the desk appears in 3 different James Bond films. CITES certificate available.
