Scapa

The company Scapa Industri AB was founded in 1959 by Göte Carlsson. He took the name from the large naval base at Scapa Flow in the Orkney Islands in Scotland, where he was voluntarily stationed in the British army during World War II. Very unusual model. It may have been designed by Göte Carlsson himself, but in the 1960s interior architects Åke Fribyter and Jan-Eric Bengtsson also designed for Scapa.
